Transformation Life Coach
We live in transitional times. For each of us, life is affected by a change, whether it’s in a relationship, a job, health-related or financial. Often the past events in our lives continue to have lasting impacts on us – the divorce that you still haven’t come to terms with, the loss of a loved one that leaves you feeling empty, the career path that hasn’t quite gone as planned. While the event may have occurred quite some time ago, it is important to make the transition through these life changes. How you make that transition makes all the difference.
Difficult circumstances can often lead to self-doubt and limiting beliefs. We often choose to hold onto negative thoughts and beliefs about events in our past. I’m here to help guide you into a more healthful, lasting, and most importantly, a positive self-image that will empower you to see the events of the past for what they truly were, to experience the present in a meaningful way, and to imagine a future full of hope.
What if you could identify your stories? Stories that are not supporting you anymore and keep you hostage? What if you could replace the old limiting beliefs of not being enough – young enough, old enough, pretty enough, with a new way of thinking? A way of thinking that will transform your indecision into the courage to act.
The stories that I am talking about are the messages that we are constantly receiving from the outside since the day we were born. And they are all about ‘how we should be’, how we should live and how the world around us should operate.
“I used to be a victim of my own story as well”.
I grew up in a small town in Poland with the mindset of following certain unwritten rules. I was taught that being born as a girl, I had to behave a certain way, act a certain way, get educated so I could get a good job, find a husband, get married, be a “good wife,” and have kids. And all of it should happen before I turn 30.
While searching for answers, I attended an event and heard Tony’s Robbins’ quote: “Whatever you hold in your mind on a consistent basis is exactly what you will experience in your life.” This resonated with me. You see, when seeking a positive change, most sources will point you to make changes in your external world, however, it is an internal change that will make a lasting impact on your happiness and fulfilment.
For me, one of the most powerful tools I have found in successfully navigating the challenges that we face has been journaling. I first encountered journaling after seeking my own coach. Her approach was different. We used journaling. First of all, writing provided me with an emotional release to the issues related to the pain. Through journal writing, I learned the importance of being aware of my own thinking and how it affects my outcomes. I became an observer of my own thoughts, of the language I use and of the stories I repeatedly tell myself. It helped me to slow down my busy and stressed mind and get back my focus. In a very short time, I was able to pick up on patterns, beliefs and habits that kept me trapped and stuck. Reflecting on and questioning my own beliefs brought me clarity. My thoughts were my enemies. I was in my own way. The transformation came from the inside-out. After years of being lost I was able to say without fear, “here’s where I am right now, here’s where I am headed” and I am confident in making it happen. It is how I became a Life Coach.
By helping you to approach change with a different mindset, ask the right questions, discover the thought patterns and the beliefs behind them, look into past experiences and current perspectives, I will help you get the self-awareness that is necessary to live the life you really really want.
Why To Journal When You Need To Make A Change!
It helps to Process Unresolved Emotions.
It helps with Self-Awareness! Without being aware there is no change happening.
Reflection - It helps to detect sneaky, unhealthy patterns in our thoughts and behaviors.
It allows us to take more control over our lives and puts things in perspective.
